  1. Submit form PS-021 (Payment Frequency Change Request)
  2. Changes take effect from your next policy anniversary
  3. Any premium difference will be calculated and adjusted

Grace Period and Late Payments

Understanding the Grace Period

If you miss your premium due date, you have a 31-day grace period:

  • Coverage continues during the grace period
  • No late fees are charged
  • Pay the full premium owed before the grace period ends
  • If unpaid after 31 days, the policy may lapse

What Happens If Your Policy Lapses

  • Coverage terminates
  • Claims cannot be made for events after lapse
  • Reinstatement may be possible within 24 months (subject to approval)
  • Cash value (if any) remains but policy benefits are suspended
