E-Statements & Transaction History
Keeping track of your finances is easier than ever with our digital statement and transaction history tools. E-statements provide a secure, convenient, and environmentally friendly alternative to paper statements. This guide explains how to access your statements, understand your transaction history, and download records for your personal or tax purposes.
What Are E-Statements?
E-statements are electronic versions of your monthly bank statements, delivered directly to your internet banking and mobile app accounts. They contain the same information as a traditional paper statement, including your opening and closing balances, all transactions during the statement period, interest earned or charged, and any fees applied to your account.
E-statements are generated on the same schedule as paper statements — typically on the first business day of each month for savings and transaction accounts, and on your statement date for credit card accounts.
Benefits of E-Statements
- Instant access: View your statements as soon as they are generated, without waiting for postal delivery
- Secure storage: Statements are stored securely in your digital banking profile and protected by your login credentials
- Environmentally friendly: Reduce paper waste by opting out of physical statements
- Long-term archive: Access up to 7 years of historical statements online at any time
- Downloadable: Download statements in PDF format for your records, tax filing, or sharing with third parties

Opting In to E-Statements
New accounts are automatically enrolled in e-statements. If you are currently receiving paper statements and wish to switch to e-statements, you can do so through the following methods:
| Channel | Steps |
|---|---|
| Internet Banking | Go to "Settings" then "Statement Preferences" and select "E-Statement Only" |
| Mobile App | Go to "Profile" then "Statement Preferences" and toggle on "E-Statements" |
| Branch | Complete the statement preference form at any branch with your identification |
| Phone Banking | Call 1800-XXX-XXXX and request the change through our automated system or a customer service officer |
Once you opt in to e-statements, paper statements will be discontinued within one billing cycle. If you wish to receive both paper and electronic statements, you may do so, however a paper statement fee of $2.00 per month applies.
Understanding Your Transaction History
Your transaction history provides a real-time view of all account activity, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, card transactions, fees, and interest. Unlike e-statements which are generated monthly, your transaction history is updated continuously throughout the day.
Viewing Transaction History
You can view your transaction history through internet banking or the mobile app. By default, the most recent 30 days of transactions are displayed. You can filter and search your transactions using the following options:
- Date range: Select a custom start and end date to view transactions within a specific period (up to 12 months at a time)
- Transaction type: Filter by deposits, withdrawals, transfers, card transactions, or fees
- Amount range: Search for transactions above or below a specific amount, or within a custom range
- Keyword search: Search by merchant name, reference number, or transaction description
Transaction Statuses
Each transaction in your history will display one of the following statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Completed | The transaction has been fully processed and settled |
| Pending | The transaction has been initiated but not yet settled — the amount is reserved but not deducted |
| Processing | The transaction is being processed by the bank or payment network and will be completed shortly |
| Failed | The transaction could not be completed — no funds were deducted |
| Reversed | A previously completed transaction has been reversed and the funds returned to your account |
Pending transactions typically settle within 1 to 3 business days. Credit card transactions may take longer, particularly for international purchases or hotel and car rental authorisations which may hold funds for up to 14 days.
Downloading and Exporting Transaction Data
For record-keeping, accounting, or tax purposes, you can download your transaction history in multiple formats:
- PDF: A formatted statement suitable for printing or sharing
- CSV: A spreadsheet-compatible format ideal for importing into accounting software such as Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, or Xero
- OFX: Open Financial Exchange format, compatible with most personal finance and accounting applications
To download your transaction data, navigate to the transaction history page, set your desired filters and date range, and click the "Export" or "Download" button. Select your preferred file format and the file will be generated and downloaded to your device.
Statement Requests for Visa or Loan Applications
If you require an official bank statement for a visa application, loan application, or other formal purpose, you can request a certified statement through the following channels:
- Internet Banking: Request a certified statement under "Services" and it will be mailed to your registered address within 3 business days. A fee of $10.00 per statement applies.
- Branch: Visit any branch to request an instant certified statement. A fee of $15.00 applies and the statement is printed and stamped while you wait.
Certified statements include the bank's official stamp and an authorised signature, making them suitable for submission to embassies, government agencies, and financial institutions.
Notification Preferences
Stay informed about your account activity by customising your notification preferences. You can choose to receive alerts for transactions above a certain amount, all card transactions, incoming and outgoing transfers, or when your balance falls below a specified threshold.
Notifications can be delivered via SMS, email, or push notification through the mobile app. To manage your notification preferences, go to "Settings" in internet banking or "Profile" in the mobile app and select "Notification Preferences."
For any questions about your statements or transaction history, contact our customer service team at 1800-XXX-XXXX or visit any branch during business hours.
