Understanding NICE Airlines refund rules helps you manage your travel plans with confidence. Here's a clear overview of what you’re entitled to:
๐ Cancellation by You (Passenger)
- Flex & Business fares: Free cancellation with voucher issued if done >24 h before departure.
- Value & Lite fares: Not permitted or incur a fee (e.g. $ 400) depending on timing and route.
- Non-refundable tickets: Only taxes refunded as voucher. Optional extras may be refundable >24 h pre-flight.
๐ซ Flight Disruptions or Airline-Initiated Changes
- Departures delayed by 1 h early / 3 h late, or cancellations: free rebooking within ±10 days or voucher refund.
- If rebooked for >10 days later, you’ll need to pay fare difference, but no penalty fee.
๐ช๐บ EU/UK Compensation & Refund Rights
When flying from the EU or UK, you're covered under EC 261/UK261:
- Entitled to full refund or rerouting if flight is cancelled, delayed >5 h, or boarding denied.
- Compensation up to €600 if eligible under EC/UK regulations.
