Health Insurance

Overview

Income’s Hospital Care Insurance is a short‑term health policy that pays fixed cash benefits when you are hospitalised, providing additional financial cushioning beyond your regular medical plans. Benefits extend worldwide (up to 90 days per policy year) and cover accidental injuries and non‑pre‑existing illnesses.

Key Benefits at a Glance

  • Section 1 – Daily Hospital Cash
Receive a fixed daily payout for each day you are warded (maximum 730 days per condition).

  • Section 2 – ICU Triple Cover
Triple the daily cash amount when you are confined in an Intensive Care Unit (maximum 60 days per condition).

  • Section 4 – Emergency Outpatient Expenses (Accident‑only)
Reimburses outpatient treatment by a registered Western, Chinese medicine practitioner, or chiropractor within 48 hours of an accident, plus follow‑up visits for 30 days.

  • Section 6 – Home Recovery After Hospitalisation
Cash allowance for each doctor‑certified day of medical or hospitalisation leave taken at home immediately after discharge.

Coverage Details

1 . Daily Hospital Cash vs ICU Triple Cover

You may claim either Section 1 or Section 2 for the same hospital day, not both.

2.  Hospital Definition

A covered hospital must be a registered medical facility offering 24‑hour nursing and surgical services. Community hospitals, nursing homes, and convalescent centres do not qualify.

3.  Worldwide Protection

You remain covered overseas for trips totalling ≤ 90 days within a policy year.

4.  Exclusions & Waiting Period

  • Pre‑existing conditions are excluded.

  • For illnesses, a 30‑day waiting period applies from policy inception; accidental injuries have no wait.
