1.1 Unpack the Equipment

Unpack your Singtel Fibre Broadband kit. The kit should contain a modem, an optical network terminal (ONT), an ethernet cable, a power adapter, and a user manual.

1.2 Connect the ONT

Connect the ONT to the fibre termination point using the provided fibre patch cord. Then, connect the power adapter to the ONT and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the lights on the ONT to stabilize.

1.3 Connect the Modem

Connect the modem to the ONT using the provided ethernet cable. Connect the power adapter to the modem and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the lights on the modem to stabilize.

1.4 Connect to the Internet

Connect your device to the modem via Wi-Fi or an ethernet cable. If you're using Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi network name and password can be found on the bottom of the modem.

2.1 No Internet Connection

If you can't connect to the Internet, try the following steps:

1. Check all the connections and make sure all devices are powered on.
2. Restart your modem and ONT.
3. Try connecting with a different device.

2.2 Slow Internet Speed

If your Internet speed is slower than expected, try the following steps:

1. Restart your modem and ONT.
2. Move your device closer to the modem.
3. Try connecting with a different device.

3.1 Electrical Safety

Do not touch the power adapter with wet hands. Keep the power adapter and all cables away from water and other liquids.

3.2 Equipment Placement

Place the modem and ONT in a well-ventilated area. Avoid placing them near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

3.3 Cleaning

Use a dry cloth to clean the modem and ONT. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
