Debit Cards

A debit card is automatically issued when you open an Everyday Transaction Account or Savings Account. It allows you to make purchases and withdraw cash directly from your account balance. If you would like to upgrade your debit card or request an additional card on another account, you can do so through internet banking or at any branch.

Credit Cards

To apply for a credit card, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

Foreign nationals may apply with a minimum annual income of $60,000 and a valid employment pass or work permit. Additional documentation may be required.

Documents Required

When applying for a credit card, please have the following documents ready:

  • Salaried employees: Last 3 months' payslips or latest Notice of Assessment (tax document), copy of identification document
  • Self-employed individuals: Last 2 years' Notice of Assessment, latest 6 months' bank statements, business registration certificate, copy of identification document
  • Foreign nationals: Copy of passport, valid employment pass or work permit, latest 3 months' payslips, proof of residential address

How to Apply

Online Application (Fastest)

Existing customers can apply for a credit card through internet banking or the mobile app in just a few minutes. Since we already hold your financial information, income verification may be streamlined or waived entirely for eligible customers.

  1. Log in to internet banking or the mobile app
  2. Navigate to "Cards" and select "Apply for a New Card"
  3. Browse the available cards and select your preferred option
  4. Review your pre-filled personal and financial details — update if necessary
  5. Upload supporting documents if prompted
  6. Review the terms and conditions, including fees and interest rates
  7. Submit your application

Existing customers with salary crediting to the bank may receive instant approval. You will be notified of the outcome via SMS and email within minutes for instant decisions, or within 3 to 5 business days for applications requiring manual review.

New Customer Application

If you do not yet hold an account with us, you can apply for a credit card through our website. Visit the "Cards" section, select "Apply Now" on your chosen card, and complete the online application form. You will need to upload your supporting documents as part of the application. Processing time for new customers is typically 5 to 7 business days.

Branch Application

Visit any of our branches with your identification document and supporting income documents. A relationship manager will guide you through the application, help you choose the right card, and submit the application on your behalf.

What Happens After You Apply

Once your application is submitted, it goes through our assessment process. Here is what to expect:

  1. Application received: You will receive an acknowledgement via SMS and email with a reference number
  2. Assessment: We review your application, income documents, and credit history. We may contact you for additional information during this stage
  3. Decision: You will be notified of the approval or decline via SMS, email, and a letter to your registered address
  4. Card delivery: Approved cards are delivered to your registered mailing address within 7 to 10 business days. Your PIN will be sent separately for security
  5. Activation: Once received, activate your card through the mobile app, internet banking, ATM, or phone banking

Credit Limit

Your approved credit limit is based on your income, existing financial commitments, and credit history. The minimum credit limit is $500 and the maximum is up to 4 times your monthly income, subject to regulatory guidelines. You can request a credit limit increase after 6 months of card usage through internet banking or by contacting customer service. Limit increases are subject to reassessment.

New card applicants may be eligible for welcome promotions, which can include bonus rewards points, cashback credits, annual fee waivers, or gift vouchers. Promotional offers are updated regularly and are displayed on the application page. Terms and conditions apply to all promotional offers.
