How to Activate Your New StarHub SIM Card

Welcome to StarHub! Activating your new SIM card is quick and easy. This guide will walk you through the activation process step by step.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following ready:

  • Your new StarHub SIM card
  • A valid photo ID (NRIC/FIN/Passport)
  • Your mobile device
  • Access to SMS or email for verification

Activation Methods

Method 1: Online Activation (Recommended)

  1. Visit activate.starhub.com on your computer or mobile browser
  2. Enter your mobile number and SIM card serial number (found on the SIM card holder)
  3. Upload a clear photo of your ID for verification
  4. Complete the identity verification process
  5. Wait for the confirmation SMS (usually within 15 minutes)
  6. Insert your SIM card and restart your phone

Method 2: StarHub App Activation

  1. Download the StarHub app from App Store or Google Play

  6. Insert SIM and restart your device once confirmed
