Child Allowance Scheme
Brief description
The child allowance aims to support Emirati employees by providing them with a child allowance for up to four children. The amount of the allowance demonstrated in the following table.

Eligibility Criteria
- First taking into account the general conditions for the UAE National to benefit from Nafis that are stated in the website FAQs
- Currently employed in the private sector/financial sector
- Household provider
- Having at least one eligible child (up to 4 children are covered)
- Sons to be considered need to be below 21 years old and not currently employed or married.
- Daughters to be considered need to be below 21 years old and not currently employed or married
- Earning less than AED 50,000 per month
- The National should not receive any salary form any government entity either local or federal, or any retirement salary unless it is earned as an inheritance
- Salaries should be payed through the wage’s protection system or any other official payment methods
- Having an active pension contribution with either ADRPBF or GPSSA
- Pension contribution is paid for the last 2 months
- Not owning shares in the establishment in which they work
- Marital Status shouldn't be Single
- Currently not enrolled in National Healthcare program through NAFIS
