Step 1: Positioning Your TV+ Box

• Place on a flat, stable surface near your TV
• Ensure adequate ventilation (5cm clearance on all sides)
• Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight
• Within reach of power outlet and TV
• Line of sight for remote control

Step 2: Connecting to Your TV

1. Connect HDMI Cable:
   • Plug one end into TV+ box HDMI OUT port
   • Connect other end to TV HDMI input
   • Note which HDMI port number (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2)
   • For best quality, use HDMI 2.1 port if available
2. Power Connection:
   • Connect power adapter to TV+ box DC IN
   • Plug adapter into wall outlet
   • Box LED should light up
3. Optional Ethernet:
   • For best performance, connect ethernet cable
   • Plug into ethernet port on back of box
   • Other end to router/modem

Step 3: Remote Control Setup

1. Open battery compartment on remote back
2. Insert 2 AAA batteries (check +/- orientation)
3. Close compartment
4. Remote should automatically pair when TV+ starts
5. If not, hold Home + Back buttons for 5 seconds

Starting the Setup Wizard

1. Turn on TV and TV+ Box:
   • Switch TV to correct HDMI input
   • TV+ box starts automatically when powered
   • StarHub logo appears
   • Setup wizard launches (2-3 minutes)
2. Language Selection:
   • Choose your preferred language
   • Currently supports: English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil
   • Can change later in Settings

2. Setting Up Profiles:
   • Select "Add Profile" on home screen
   • Choose avatar image
   • Enter profile name
   • Set age group (Adult/Teen/Kids)
   • Configure content preferences

• Resolution: Auto-detect or manual (720p/1080p/4K)
• HDR: Enable if TV supports HDR10/Dolby Vision

• Press Guide button for full EPG

Recording Configuration

App Installation

1. Navigate to Apps section

3. Select app and choose Install
4. Sign in with your app credentials
