Recording Methods

Method 1: Quick Record (While Watching)

  1. While watching a show, press the Record button (red button)
  2. Choose recording option:
    • Record This Episode: Current show only
    • Record Series: All episodes
    • Record New Episodes: Skip repeats
  3. Adjust settings if needed:
    • Start time (can include previous minutes)
    • End time (add padding)
    • Keep until (manual or auto-delete)
  4. Confirm recording

Method 2: From TV Guide

  1. Press Guide button on remote
  2. Navigate to desired show (use arrow keys)
  3. Press OK to see options
  4. Select "Record"
  5. Choose recording type
  6. Red dot appears next to scheduled recordings

    • Yellow: 70-90% used
    • Red: 90-100% used

Freeing Up Space
