Creating a Master PIN

1. To access parental controls, press the Home button on your remote then press "OK".
   • Navigate to Settings and select Parental Controls then press.
   • Choose "Set Up Parental Controls" to begin.
   • Create your PIN by entering a 4-digit code, confirming it.
   • If you get an error message that says PIN has already been set try using "0000" which is the default PIN.
   • When creating your PIN, make sure to choose something memorable but secure that's different from your payment PIN.
   • You'll need this code for all future changes to parental controls, so keep it confidential from children.

Creating a Kids Profile

1. From Home Screen:
   • Select profile icon (top right)
   • Choose "Add Profile"
   • Select "Profile"
   • Enter the child's name
   • Select age or birthdate
2. Customize Settings:
   • Choose avatar/theme
   • Set content rating limit
   • Configure time restrictions
   • Select allowed channels
3. Content Curation:
   
   • Block specific shows
   • Create approved list
   • Set language preferences

Setting Rating Limits

1. Go to Settings → Parental Controls
2. Enter Master PIN 6 digits
3. Select "Rating Limit"
4. Choose maximum allowed rating
5. Options for exceeding limit:
   • Block Completely: No access
   • Request PIN: Allow with PIN
   • Notify Only: Alert sent to parent

Channel Blocking

Preventing Unauthorized Purchases

1. Enable Purchase PIN:
   • Settings → Purchases → Require PIN
   • Set different PIN from master
   • Applies to all transactions
2. Purchase Types Controlled:
   • Movie rentals
   • Premium channel subscriptions
   • Pay-per-view events
   • App subscriptions
   • In-app purchases
