How to Update Your Payment Method
You can update your payment method at any time through the WeWork app or member portal. WeWork supports credit/debit cards and, in some regions, direct debit (ACH/BACS).
Accepted Payment Methods
- Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit and debit cards
- ACH bank transfer (US only)
- BACS direct debit (UK only)
- Wire transfer (for enterprise accounts — contact your Account Manager)
Updating Your Card via the App
- Open the WeWork app.
- Tap your profile icon and go to Account > Billing > Payment Methods.
- Tap Add Payment Method.
- Enter your new card details and tap Save.
- Set the new card as your default by tapping Make Default next to it.
- You may remove an old card once a new default is saved.
Updating Your Card via the Web Portal
- Log in at members.wework.com.
- Go to Account > Billing.
- Select Payment Methods and follow the same steps as above.
Important Notes
- Changes take effect from your next invoice. If payment has already been attempted and failed, update your card and then contact support to retry the charge.
- If your invoice is overdue, your access may be suspended until payment is resolved.
- WeWork does not store full card numbers — only the last four digits are displayed for identification.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, WeWork will send an email notification and attempt to retry the charge within a few days. To avoid access disruption, update your payment method as soon as possible after receiving a failed payment notification.
